Create Google Universal Analytics property

Universal Analytics properties will stop collecting data starting July 1, 2023. It’s recommended that you create a Google Analytics 4 property instead.

To create Google Universal Analytics property, please follow these steps:

• Open your Google Analytics account

• Click Admin button

• Click Create Property button

• Enter a property name, choose timezone and select the currency

• Click Show advanced options button on the first step page

• Check the "Create a Universal Analytics property" option

• Enter your website URL

• Choose "Create a Universal Analytics property only" option

• Click the Next button

• Fill in the information about your business in the last step

• Click Create button

Universal Analytics Property is created. Now you need to turn on Enhanced E-Commerce for this property. Please follow the next article to do that.
